* Blueprints - The official publication of the PCBA mailed monthly to members.


* "Who's Who in the Polk County Building Industry" - A listing of all members, categorized alphabetically and by business activity.


* Website - Provides easy-to-access information for industry professionals and consumers.


Insurance Programs - Save on builders risk, general liability, property, inland marine and business auto premiums through the Florida Home Builders Insurance Association. That could be enough to pay for your PCBA membership.


Government Affairs - PCBA has an active government affairs program to monitor legislation that affects the building industry on the local, state and national levels. The Political Action Committee endorses candidates who support the industry.


Education

* General Membership Meetings - Held monthly, these events provide an opportunity to learn about what's happening in the industry and community by networking with colleagues. Sponsorships are available to showcase your company.


* CE courses - Offered throughout the year to earn your 14 hours of CE credits.


Special Events

* Tournaments - Annual events include two golf tournaments and a fishing tournament.


* Parade of Homes - An opportunity for builders and subcontractors to showcase their work and designs. Provides exposure and advertising to the buying public.


* Showcase Home/VIP Party - Another opportunity for marketing exposure.


Affiliations - Upon joining, you automatically become a member of the PCBA, Florida Home Builders Association and National Association of Home Builders.


Other Programs / Services

* Return on Investment Coupons - Members receive discount coupons for membership meetings, special event registration fees and advertising. NAHB provide members with discounts on hotels, car rentals, office products, PCs, overnight delivery, and more.
