The Polk County Builders Association Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now available for the 2011-2012 PCBA Foundation scholarships. The Foundation created the scholarship fund to assist in addressing the pressing need for a better educated and trained workforce in the construction building industry.
Scholarship applicants should be members of a local FBA Chapter who are students in good standing and recommended by their teachers. Students should have a strong interest in the residential construction industry, or related trades who desire to pursue higher education opportunities, but lack financial resources. Those students that received scholarships to go on to higher education are eligible to apply for scholarships as long as they are attending college. An applicant should demonstrate an interest in remaining in the construction industry upon graduation.
Scholarship Application Deadline is Extended to Monday, March 19, 2012
All applications must be in by this date - no exceptions.
